DM2 Professional Service Consultants Receive Sage Certification
Posted on Fri, Mar 25, 2011
Several of our Professional Services consultants were recently certified by Sage on SQL Server administration and management and Sage CRM.
DM2 and Sage are no strangers to SQL Server applications. DM2 introduced StoreLink, a SQL Server based application for convenience store management, five years ago and our SQL Datawarehousing and Reporting feature that was made standard in our system four years ago. The Sage CRM system is an SQL Server based application that has been on the market for several years. The SQL certification training Sage offers covered the most important aspects of working with SQL Server-based applications. This two day workshop included practical experience via virtual hands-on labs. The course covered installing, configuring and managing SQL Server, explained how SQL Server indexes work, showed how to read execution plans, described how to perform basic performance tuning and diagnostics and provided guidance on planning for high availability options such as clustering, mirroring and log-shipping. The certification training also covered deploying SQL Server and how to perform core administration and management tasks.
The Sage CRM certification training offered by Sage covered all of the aspects of implementing and using Sage CRM in the Extended Enterprise Suite. This certification training is designed for individuals responsible for setting up and implementing CRM as part of the Extended Enterprise Suite. The topics covered in this training also included:
- Understanding the System Administrator and setup requirements.
