DM2 helps Shell Lubricants Marketers to save time and reduce order entry errors byautomating the Replenishment and DFOA order process

Vancouver, WA, September 12, 2011 – In conjunction with Shell Lubricants, DM2 Software, Inc. has taken supply chain automation to the next level with its new and improved Shell Lubricants Interface.  In addition to automatically uploading Replenishment purchase orders to Shell’s eRouter system, DM2’s new Shell Lubricants Interface now automatically processes Deliver For Our Account (DFOA) orders, eliminating time consuming double entries and reducing order entry errors. This new interface automatically creates orders in DM2’s Petroleum Insights back office/ERP system when DFOA order notifications to deliver to accounts on Shell’s behalf are received.  It also eliminates the need to manually enter orders a second time into the eRouter system when placing requests for deliveries when DFOA customers contact Shell Lubricants marketers directly to place orders.

“We worked with Shell Lubricants’ development team a few years ago to automate the placement of Replenishment purchase orders,” said Chris Lemonier, DM2’s Vice President of Technology. “By enhancing our existing two-way link to Shell’s eRouter system, our new interface now gives Shell Lubricants marketers the ability to automatically receive or place DFOA orders from within their DM2 system.”
